Sarah Nuernberger is one of those photographers that not only has the imagination to see beyond the obvious in any subject but also the skill and training to be aware of every tiny detail and to capture those precise moments when a photograph tells a story. Her sense of adventure, curiosity about her world, and willingness to take risks influence her work. Being born in the Midwest; going to school and working in the East; and now continuing her professional career on the West coast have given her a solid basis for understanding the role of photography in America. Studying and traveling in Europe and South America have also given her the ability to see and photograph with a global perspective.
A run by the bay, listening to the latest sounds from an emerging band, volunteering at the SPCA or trying something new all fill out Sarah's life.
